Utilization

For many equipment fleets, knowing where your assets are is valuable information, however, knowing what they are doing and if they are being utilized to a high degree can often be more important.

GFI offers various levels of monitoring utilization levels depending on the configuration of equipment and vehicle type. Some information can be mined using gps data alone, or peripheral hardware can aid in leveraging diagnostic information if deemed necessary. Below is an example of extractable data for a partial month of service on a specific piece of equipment.

WIth more invasive hardware interfacing with our software it is possible to extract additional diagnostic data. This is often considered for equipment that operates without necessarily moving (excavators) or if certain diagnostic information is important to the client.
